Unworthy of happiness
Unworthy of love
Unworthy of the blessings from the Lord above
Unworthy of the flow the universe provides
Unworthy of the truth
Deserving only of lies
Deserving of pain,
Heartache, and strain
Fatigue and anguish
All one and the same
Deserving of deception,
Mistrust, and hate
Deserving of failure—
You don’t deserve to be great
Necessary wars
Necessary theft
Necessary famine
Necessary death
Necessary tribes that hate their own kin
Breeding generations of children who hate their own skin
Centuries of falsities have manifest as religion
Believing we’re weak while our powers lie hidden
Remain downtrodden…meek—
That’s your decision
…or reclaim that light that’s already been given
We’ve all got a gift
Some of us know it
Some of us—including me—have tried to disown it
I’ve run my whole life… I’ve been moving so wrong
I’ve run full circle, ending up back here—right where I belong
This is bigger than me
It’s much bigger than you
This notion that we’re unworthy is simply untrue
